In response, government has introduced changes to help families with the cost of childcare, while assisting centres to remain open during the COVID-19 outbreak.
So, despite being in the middle of a health crisis, Pro Kidz Early Learning Centre opened its doors last week and the future looks positive, with current and future enrolments ensuring the centre will be in high demand with local families, when life returns to normal.
Pro Kidz is a long-day early learning centre at 33 Sydney Rd, with plans to ramp-up after restrictions are lifted to roll-out kindergarten programs, before and after school care as well as school holiday and vacation care.
Centre director Leanne Spencer said the childcare was a great mix of indoor and outdoor play areas, which blended natural and colourful materials, including a water pump for the over-three-year-old children to pump water along rocks, which all combines to create a relaxed atmosphere, while promoting confidence, creativity and learning in every child.
She said there was also an abundance of shade sails and veggie boxes and a raft of activities to keep the kids active, interested and engaged.
With a staff of 10, including Leanne, she said the team was proud of the facility and parents could be assured their children would feel safe and secure in the care of professional educators.
