The West Australian, as high as No.5 in the world this year after securing her fourth and fifth LPGA Tour titles this season, on Wednesday confirmed her spot in the field for the November 28-December 1 tournament.
The feature event on the WPGA Tour of Australasia will be contested alongside the men's event at Kingston Heath and The Victoria golf clubs.
Australia's highest-ranked golfer joins Ashleigh Buhai - the South African has won both tournaments since the event's 2022 merger with the men - as the first major names to commit.
Green finished fifth last year and was two shots off the pace, finishing third behind Buhai when the Victorian courses last hosted the event two years ago.

"It's no secret how highly I think of the Australian Open and what winning the Patricia Bridges Bowl would mean to me," two-time Olympian Green said.
"I've come close a couple of times and hopefully this is the year I can get my hands on the trophy.
"I love playing in Victoria and especially on the Sandbelt, so I am looking forward to getting back to Kingston Heath and Victoria.
"The style of golf is such a good match for my game."
Defending men's champion Joaquin Niemann will return, alongside emerging Australian star Min Woo Lee and former champion Cameron Davis.
Jason Day and Cameron Smith have both committed to the Australian PGA Championship, taking place a week earlier in Brisbane, but are yet to pencil in their Open appearances.
