Hundreds of people turned out for the Eden Farm Multicultural Festival.
The event included food and craft stalls, farm tours, music and activities.
Eden Farm is run by Gary and Katherina Baker, who also run a volunteer program and grow biodynamic vegetables, fruit, olives, sunflowers, crops, spring flowers and corn.
Katherina said the festival, postponed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was a success and they planned to run the event again next year.
“It’s been lots of work but we’re grateful for the support from many volunteers, and businesses who have helped us,” she said.
Run with the support of funding from the Victorian Government through the Multicultural Festivals and Events Program, the festival was designed to support culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with a disability and First Nations people.
Eden Farm was a 2019 Moira Shire award winner for ‘Excellence in Sustainability’ .
