Have you ever wondered about joining the Country Women’s Association, even in a small way?
If so, Thoona CWA is holding an information day on Sunday, June 23 at 2pm in the Thoona hall.
It is open to all ages and is a great chance to see how you can play a part in social connections and community service.
No baking or knitting experience required.
What CWA does:
- It cares: By reaching out to people who are lonely, caring for vulnerable women, children and families and supporting disaster recovery teams.
- It empowers: By providing support for those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged, CWA challenges decision makers to drive social change, offer programs that empower and provide opportunities to learn, while connecting women from all walks of life.
- It contributes: By advocating on behalf of its communities. By raising and distributing funds for disaster relief efforts. By raising and distributing funds to organisations that support vulnerable women, children and families. By volunteering and stepping up to do work in local communities.
If you are interested in finding out more, pop along to the Thoona Hall on Sunday, June 23 from 2pm.
