The division, Nature One Dairy, will export milk powder products made in Australia, to a company which has outlets in the special administrative regions of Macau and Hong Kong.
The product, made at the Carrum Downs factory, includes infant milk formula and powders aimed at a range of ages and needs.
It includes powder formulated specially for pets.
SPC Global managing director Robert Iervasi said the pet formulations were a growth channel for the company.
Nature One Dairy sealed the landmark 10-year exclusivity agreement with Dairy Farm Company Limited, trading as Mannings, the region’s largest health and beauty chain.
The deal is expected to generate $250 million in revenue over the term of the agreement, marking a significant milestone for NODHK’s functional powdered milk division.
Nature One Dairy will supply dairy products to Mannings’ extensive network of more than 320 outlets in Hong Kong and Macau.
Asked if the company was looking to engage more processing capacity to meet the demand, Mr Iervasi said the prospect was under review.
Nature One Dairy CEO Nick Dimopoulos said they were delighted to establish a long-term partnership with such a reputable retailer as Mannings.
“This agreement will allow us to expand our relationship by supplying more high-quality products throughout Mannings’ vast retail network,” Mr Dimopoulos said.
Mr Iervasi said Nature One Dairy’s strategic partnership was based on a long-term relationship that Mr Dimopoulos had with Mannings, and the result of months of hard work and negotiations by our senior management team.
“This partnership highlights Nature One Dairy’s dedication to delivering premium products worldwide, while further strengthening its position throughout Asia,” Mr Iervasi said.
