PREMIUM Education Students dig three-day Dookie camp By Geoff Adams Dec 2, 2024 Year 9 Collingwood College student Aubrey Keen was interested in both the science and agriculture elements of the three-day camp at Dookie. “I’d heard about the opportunity through school and it sounded cool. I wanted to try it.” Collingwood College Year 9 student Tiger Chong had a particular interest in the science element of the three-day camp at Dookie. It was his first time staying in a country area. He intends to take up science subjects next year. Collingwood College Year 9 student Sofia Ciancil was interested in both the science an agriculture elements of the three-day camp at Dookie. “It’s an opportunity to learn about food and where it comes from.” She is thinking about what a job in the country would be like. Year 9 student Charlie Gall from FCJ College, Benalla, lives on a farm, but felt she would benefit from the science and agriculture camp at Dookie. She wanted to learn about job opportunities in the sector and to meet new people.
