On Friday, December 13, around 600 Year 5 students went to the school to learn about different career paths, test out some new equipment and watch some demonstrations.
Students got to take the driver’s seat, with tractors, excavators, garbage trucks and fire trucks all ready to explore.
Many businesses were there to show students what their careers were all about, including Goulburn Valley Water and FOOTT Waste, as well as plenty of interactive demonstrations and activities, including in arts and crafts and tech.
Aspirations day is offered to all Year 5 students attending a government school in Greater Shepparton, with the event designed to inspire students to dream big and show them the many opportunities available and the subject pathways they might choose in secondary school.
News photographer Megan Fisher was there to capture all the fun.
