The choir will perform in the town for the first time in two years and organiser Ian Herbert said he is looking forward to the performance.
“It was a full house two years ago and was enjoyed by the choir as well as the audience,” Mr Herbert said.
“And I know they are looking forward to returning.
“It can hard for them to organise a full ensemble outside of Melbourne, so we are really happy that they are coming to Swanpool.”
Mr Herbert said it always amazed him how the local community came together to assist in setting up events like this.
“We have some great local volunteers who help us utilise the hall as a cinema or as a arts venue,” he said.
“They come in and move the seating out or in, set up stages and help us prepare.
“And the public always support us by coming along to the different events we hold.
“Although the population in the town can be counted on one or two hands, regionally Swanpool is a hub.
“And people are prepared to travel over here to enjoy a day out.”
The concert is being run alongside the Benalla Festival on Saturday, November 10.
“We were a little too late to get into the official festival guide,” Mr Herbert said.
“But this is the main festival event we are running in Swanpool this year, other than the regular cinema program.”
Tickets are $25 and you can pick one up from GMCU Benalla, Amcal Chemist or at the Swanpool Cinema Box Office.
The concert begins at 10am on November 10 and an afternoon tea will follow with local artists performing on stage.
