The club, which holds regular country dances at the Lakeside Community Centre, has invited its founding members to return for the event.
Club member Michelle Triffit said the club was open to anyone who would like to take part and regularly hosted local and interstate performers.
“We have some of our original members coming back and it will be a big event,” Ms Triffit said.

“The club was started by a group of local people who attended a one-off country dance in Benalla back in 1995,” Ms Triffit said.
“One of them, George Farnham, is an artist and he put it to the group that they should start up their own club.”
After a bit of planning and promotion the Rose City Country Music Club held its first event in March of that year.
“We have three of the original committee who are still involved,” Ms Triffit said.

“Fay Blyss, Donny Beaton and Maureen Joyce were at the first dance and are still around keeping an eye on things.”
There has been little change in the way the club operates in the past quarter decade with the local appetite for country dancing as strong as ever.
“The one big change is that we now hold our dances at the Lakeside Community Centre, a venue that didn't even exist when the club formed,” Ms Triffit said.
“We’ve got our own band that play, they're not a set band who always perform together.

“They come together for our dances and attendees, or other artists, always comment on how great they are, and how well the work with any visiting artist that comes along.
“We also do our best to support all the local talent from our region and we've had some amazing artists perform at our dances.”
The club hopes the 25th anniversary event will be the biggest it has arranged.

“We will have some walk-up artists on the day – so any local artist who would like to be a part can just come along on the day with their instrument and put their name down.
“We are a not-for-profit club, and any money our events raise over and above our operating costs is put back into community projects.
“Anyone who has been to the Lakeside Community Centre will know that it has a great dancefloor, so bring your dancing shoes.
Entry is $9, which includes tea and coffee, and an afternoon tea - doors open at 11 am.
