International Wear Your PJs to work day falls on April 16 each year and supports a variety of charities.
In Australia the idea of wearing PJs to work has been used specifically to raise awareness around, and funds for, children living in foster care.

Aussies also have two opportunities to partake with National Pyjama Day Australia taking place on July 23.
Proprietor Makadde Male said she was looking up different charity days the business could support when she heard about Wear Your PJs to work day.
“The new uniform isn't going to be a permanent thing,” Ms Male said.
“We're just in pyjamas today to support the Pyjama Foundation.
“It's a bit of fun and if we can wear PJs to raise a bit of awareness that's a good thing.

“I saw it online, and decided it was something we could take part in.
“It's a great idea, and for a good cause, so we're proud to support it.”
