Club members were relieved to finally host the night, which was originally scheduled for April, after having to cancel last year's event.
As always apprentices were chosen with assistance from Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.
The awards were hosted by Lions president Denise Brown who introduced the apprentices and thanked sponsors Mitre 10 and Delatite Steel.

“Before giving out the apprenticeship awards we have a special award for one of our members,” Ms Brown told the crowd before inviting Lion David Lowing to join her.
Mr Lowing was then presented with a President's Appreciation Award from Lions Australia, for outstanding secretarial duties.
Four local apprentices were then each given a certificate and $500 voucher to recognise outstanding work in each of their fields.
