The awards, presented by the Women’s Business School, celebrate and recognise Australian mothers in business who have achieved outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation.
She has been recognised in the Business Pivot category, after reimagining her own business, which was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is a national stage Kylie shares with names such as Married at First Site’s, Jules Robinson who is also a finalist this year.

Kylie said she was forced to understand how to pivot early in life, becoming a strong individual with the resilience to survive her environment.
In 2020, after a decade of successfully growing an award-winning tuition company, Kylie pivoted in the face of a pandemic that would close her Benalla office forever.
She is now a number one Amazon best-selling author, educational mentor and performance coach connecting to the world online from her farm in Warrenbayne.
Kylie has also returned to Deakin University to study Psychological Science after decades of teaching.

She said she was excited about her upcoming children’s book, Little People Big Emotions that is currently in pre-release and will make its debut later in 2021.
“I am determined to support school communities and parents by sharing the book with groups of children and providing the related teacher and parent study guides, so students don’t just listen to the story, but actively engage in how it feels in their own lives, so they can use these skills to build self-awareness and self-esteem,” Kylie said.

Kylie said she was honored to be named as a finalist again this year after success with the Leadership Award in 2020.
“As I explained in chapter one of last year’s book, Back Yourself, you must find your niche,” she said.
“You must focus on what lights you up and that will be the motivation you need to succeed in your mission and vision.”
