A barber business in Shepparton and Echuca took the opportunity to spread a little festive cheer in December, giving free haircuts to 45 people.

K&N Barber provided free haircuts to 25 seniors in Shepparton and 20 in Echuca.
Owner Kamal Ali said the devastation caused by COVID-19 made him want to spread some cheer, so he decided to provide free haircuts to people aged 60 and over.
This is the second year K&N Barber has provided free haircuts; however, last year, due to the restrictions as a result of COVID-19, the business offered haircuts at customers’ homes.

This year, Mr Ali was even more determined to provide haircuts and bring joy to his patrons due to the recent floods.
He said he also felt the need to give free haircuts because he wanted to give back to the community, which has supported him and his businesses.
“The community is a family, and we’re part of the community,” Mr Ali said.
K&N Barber stores are located at Maude St, Shepparton and Nish St, Echuca, and open seven days a week. Bookings are not necessary.
