Benalla Basketball Association’s domestic competition came to a climax last Thursday night, with teams across all age groups fighting it out for grand final glory.

In the Men’s Super League, the Shaqtin Supremes easily defeated the Big Ballers, with Riley Kego awarded the Willie Ryan Memorial Most Valuable Player Trophy for his efforts, with Ryan’s sister Dianne Abbott on hand to present the award.
In the B-men’s decider, the Suns scored a seven point win over the Panthers, with Cam Symes knocking down 11-points for the victors, while the Dribblers proved too good for the Cougars in the B-women's clash, with teen Hayleigh Frost electric with 16-points.
In the junior events, Tag beat Kings by 22 points in the under-18 boy's match with Luke Dunne starring with 19 points, while the Celtics beat out the Kings in the under-16s boy's grand final, with Tom Riley a key player for the victors.
After only dropping one game all season, the Bulls finished strong with a dominant 25-point win over the Celtics in under-14/16 girls league, with Remi Nicholas (14 points) and Sophie Boyle (12) prolific.
Defense was the deciding factor for the Celtics 15-point win over Cavaliers in the under-14 boy's competition, while in reserve, it was the Cavaliers who bested the Celtics in the under-12 boy's event.
Rounding out the matches, an under-10 boys and under-10/12 girls round robin competition kicked off the night.
