From Wednesday, April 26, Cooinda’s main entrance for visitors is set move to the corner of Samaria Rd and Central Ave to make way for the start of the Stage 2 Redevelopment Building in the coming weeks.
Cooinda’s chief executive officer Alex McKenna said the new reception and main entry for visitors on the corner of Samaria Rd and Central Ave is opposite Benalla Health and has visitor car parking available out the front of the new entrance.
“After years in the planning we are excited to see the commencement of the Stage 2 project,” Mr McKenna said.
“The construction will occur in three stages and although there will be some changes, we are working hard to ensure there is minimal disruption for our residents, visitors, staff, volunteers and contractors.
“Now we have received the official building permit, Benalla-based construction company, Landmark Construction Group, have commenced onsite planning.
“It is expected the building of the three stages to be completed mid to late next year.”
