Four of the brightly coloured Easter-themed round bales will be stationed on the Potts Village Green in Mangan Street for the launch tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5pm until 6pm.
Three of those bales feature characters from the movie Hop, while the other is also an Easter bale. A fifth bale is close to the RSL building and has an Anzac Day-themed bale, while the last is at the recreation reserve entrance.
Volunteer artists have painted all of the Hop bales, being Ali Farrell, Claudia Moore and Anna Fitzgerald. The Easter bale has been painted by the street art group.
The winter version of the Tongala Recreation Reserve bale, painted by the Tongala Development Group, features the football and netball club logo, a netballer on one side and footballer on the other.
It was painted with a cricket player for the summer.
Amelia May from Echuca will be performing solo acoustic music for an hour and there is also an Easter egg hunt, which is being sponsored by Bendigo Bank.
Tongala Primary School’s Parents and Friends group will be running a cake stall from the kiosk and a craft table with free art supplies and colouring equipment will be sponsored by the bank.
Children can make the Easter cups and decorate them before going off on the hunt.
