World famous Australian snooker player Eddie Charlton gave an exhibition in Yarrawonga Shire Hall on Friday 20th February, 1976.
The exhibition was organised by Yarrawonga Mulwala Rotary club who gave all profits of the evening to furnishings at the new hostel at Yarrawonga Hospital.
Tiered seating ensured an excellent view for everyone.
Charlton brought his own table.
He challenged 6 of the top local snooker players from Mulwala Services Club who were given a start of 300 points.
Eddie Charlton is world open snooker champion and runner-up to Rex Reardon in professional championship (31-30 frames).
