As part of NSW Youth Week, the Totem Collective will be running a free skating workshop at the Moama Skate Park this Easter Saturday, April 19.
The workshop will feature two learn-to-skate sessions, personal mentoring and an intermediate skater session.
The day will kick off at 10am with registrations for the beginner class followed by the hour-long, hands-on session for newcomers and beginner skaters.
From 11.15am, registrations for the second beginner class will open, followed by another hour-long session.
At 12.30pm, youth will have the chance to chat with the mentors and other fellow skaters and even have some posters signed.
A free barbecue lunch will be provided on the day for participants to enjoy.
After lunch, mentoring sessions for intermediate skaters will run until the end of the event at 2pm.
The free event is aimed at youth between the age of 12 to 24 and was proudly funded by the Murray River Council.
