Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content However, Benalla-Yarrawong Rd remains closed between Sydney Rd and Link Rd. 1.29pm: A grassfire continues to burn on Benalla-Yarrawonga Rd north-east of Benalla. As of 1.29pm on Tuesday, January 2, there were 21 vehicles responding to the fire. The CFA has issued a Stay Informed advice message for Benalla, which reads: “There is a grassfire at Benalla-Yarrawonga Rd, Benalla, that is not yet under control. “Benalla-Yarrawonga Rd is closed between Sydney Rd and Link Rd. “There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and monitor conditions.” Fighting: CFA members tackling the blaze.
