Continence Health Australia wants to map Australia’s public dunnies with $500 prizes up for grabs.
So far, 24,200 publicly accessible toilets, changing rooms and restrooms have been mapped and put into a database, but there’s more out there.
This year’s hunt coincides with World Continence Week, beginning on Monday, April 14 until Sunday, May 11.
Public toilets seem to be all over the place throughout Yarrawonga.
There are 11 restrooms within a 1.5km radius of Yarrawonga Post Office, and four more in Mulwala.
Corowa and Wahganyah have 19 between them so your dignity is likely safe.
A consumer survey found 49 per cent of respondents were uncomfortable embarking on a long journey without knowing where the first toilet stop would be.
Motorists can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing there’s plenty of pit stops throughout the Moira Shire.
But Continence Health Australia chief executive Jim Cooper said there are still thousands of toilets across the country that remain unaccounted for.
“These may be hidden in small towns, parks, libraries, service stations as well as newly built community spaces,” Mr Cooper said.
By helping identify their location you could not only help a fellow Aussie in a time of great need, but you could also win enough cash to buy a year’s supply of toilet paper, or half depending on how often you enjoy filing the paperwork.
