Mrs Harvey is perhaps best known for an exhibition she held in 2014 called Vintage Clothing Exhibitions.
The young artists’ exhibition will run until the end of February, with free entry.
A student of Catharina’s Vintage Stitches and great-granddaughter of Isobel Harvie, Lexie Zobec, 12, had her art on display, and family and friends were excited to see the fantastic work she had created.
Catharina Sudholz from Catharina’s Vintage Stitches presented the works created by her young students, while Vicki Neele from the Kyabram Town Hall and Lexie opened the exhibition.
“We have been doing kid classes for a while, so some are old students, and some are new,” Ms Sudholz said.
“I thought the exhibition was really good. Quite a few people turned up.”
Lexie’s family are proud of her hard work and are excited to see what artistic path she takes.
“She has been working on it for years,” mum Melitta Zobec said.
“The town hall has provided great opportunities for artists.”
Lexie started her art journey during the COVID-19 lockdowns and, since then, has rarely been without a pen or a paintbrush close to hand.
Lexie recently started experimenting with watercolours and has sold many of her artworks.
