Rainfall across the Seven and Castle creeks catchment totalled 70mm to 120mm, falling from 9am Wednesday to 5.43pm on Thursday.
As of Thursday, at 5.12pm, the river level of Seven Creek at Euroa was 4.18m, exceeding the moderate flood level of 4m — and more than double the amount in the creek 24 hours before.
Further river level rises are possible at Seven Creek in Euroa.
As of 5.43pm Thursday, river levels were elevated along the Castle Creek to Telfords Bridge.
With a high chance of further rain early Friday, there is a possibility of further river level rises.
Moderate flooding also occurred at Strathbogie on Thursday with river levels rising on Wednesday, reaching a peak of 2.43m about 9.56am Thursday.
The water levels started to fall during the day in Seven Creek in Strathbogie.

Shepparton saw heavy wet weather across Wednesday night and Thursday morning with 55mm of rain recorded in the 24 hours from Wednesday 9am.
As of Thursday at 5.43pm, a ‘watch and act’ for a moderate flood warning for Seven Creek downstream of Euroa, which included Kialla West, was issued.
The Seven Creek level at Kialla West sat at 2.54m, below the minor flood level.
The level could exceed the minor flood level of 4.05m overnight Thursday and possibly exceed the moderate flood level of 5m by Friday morning.
This will impact several areas across Kialla West.
Mitchell Rd, between Goulburn Valley Hwy and Archer St, is likely to be flooded if the minor flood level is exceeded.
Raftery Rd, Kialla, will likely be flooded between the bridge and Edgewater Rd once the moderate flood level is exceeded.
Arcadia Down traffic is likely to be detoured due to floodwater.

Greater Shepparton City Council released a statement on Thursday night, stating council staff had been cleaning out drainage pits and pipes over the past two days and would continue to do so in coming days.
After significant rain, the receding rates of water will differ across various areas and council is closely monitoring the drainage network and stepping up on their maintenance program in coming weeks, the statement read.
Residents are being asked to report any blocked drainage or street flooding via the council website.
