A black wallet with the logo ENGEL on it was handed to Benalla police on Saturday, March 18, after it was found at the Benalla Air Show. If you believe this is your property, please contact Benalla police on 5760 0200 and quote reference # 202303-E-1383. Contents of the wallet can be quoted for proof of ownership.
Seeking assistance
Police are appealing for assistance in relation to vandalism at the Benalla Botanical Gardens amenities block that occurred between January 4 and 5. A considerable amount of damage requiring extensive clean-up occurred when red hair dye was applied to walls and fixtures.

Benalla Highway Patrol
In the past week Benalla Highway Patrol have impounded a vehicle for 30 days at a cost of $1625 because the driver was unlicensed, and returned a positive drug test. The driver will be summonsed to court at a later date.
Highway patrol members also intercepted a driver who returned a positive drug test for cannabis. The driver was banned from driving for 12 hours and will receive a summons to appear at court at a later date.
Another driver was detected travelling at 145km/h on the Hume Fwy. The driver received a fine of $601 and they will lose their licence for three months.
