Between 4pm on March 18 and 7am March 19, the thief is believed to have gained access to the Stotts Rd property by using an angle grinder on the locked gate.
A shed was broken into, but it is believed nothing was stolen.
The offender then travelled further in to the property, found a trailer and stole it.
Mission failed
A would-be thief has failed in an attempt to break into a Wallan home.
The offender jumped over the fence at 19 Mt Eliza Ave and attempted to break into the property between 11pm on March 18 and 11am on March 19. Entry was unsuccessful.
Servo robbed
Almost $10,000 has been stolen from a service station at Seymour.
The service station on Goulburn Valley Hwy, Seymour, was broken into about 12.30am on March 25. The thief is believed to have gained access by breaking a rear window.
About $9400 was stolen from the till. About four cartons of assorted cigarettes are also believed to have been taken.
Crime of opportunity
A brief pitstop has proved costly for a northbound motorist.
Between 1am and 1.05am on March 25, a vehicle parked briefly at the Beveridge rest area on the Hume Fwy was broken into. A black backpack containing a wallet, logbook and food items was stolen.
Fence removed
Temporary fencing has been stolen from a building site in Beveridge.
About $600 worth of grey temporary fencing was taken from the Oleander Circuit site between 3pm on March 22 and 9am on March 23.
