On Monday, May 15 an amount of cash was located in the Benalla Botanical Gardens and handed in to Benalla police.
If you have lost some money, contact police on 5760 0200. Reference number 202305-E-1254. Proof of ownership will be required.

Winter driving with snow season due to start on June 10
Police are urging drivers to ensure they are prepared before travelling. As the days get shorter and the weather colder and wetter, please take care on the roads. Make sure you have de-iced and cleared your windscreen on frosty mornings.
Ensure your vehicle is in roadworthy condition, check the condition of your tyres. Make sure your lights are all working and that your windscreen does not have any cracks or large chips.
Ensure you give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination, so you are not in a rush. Make sure you are in a fit condition to drive. Don't drive tired, or drug- or alcohol-affected.
