Two drivers of vehicles were conveyed to hospital following a crash on the Murray Valley Highway at the Chiltern/Howlong Road intersection last Thursday, September 19.
Rutherglen Police said the north-bound Nisson Navara utility with single male occupant proceeded through a stop sign and collided with an east-bound Mercedez Benz with single female occupant.
The male was conveyed to Wodonga hospital and the female to Albury hospital. No major injuries resulted.
Investigations are continuing and police said “there will be some charges”.
Drug charges
A 37-year--old Rutherglen man is facing drug charges after having his home raided last Thursday, September 19.
Police allegedly seized firearm parts, cash, fireworks and a commercial quantity of ice.
The man appeared before Shepparton Court via a link from Wodonga Police on Friday.
He will remain in custody to appear at Wodonga Magistrates Court on December 12.
