Judging by the response from locals and visitors alike, he’s succeeded in delivering a future iconic wall.
Chatting to the Ensign on day one of Benalla Street Art Festival, Price said he was stoked to have the opportunity to take part.
“I probably spent a month thinking about the design,” Price said.
“And it all came together in about a week after I worked out what I wanted to do.”
Price said he would be painting all week and has had an opportunity to see some of the other murals.
“It (the festival) has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve met have been so nice.
“A lady came over last night to offer me a coffee and biscuits, which was really nice.
“Meeting some of the other artists has been amazing, too.”
Price has had a bit of help from his son, Oscar, during the process.
“It’s been great to have him here, and he’s got a couple of days off school, so he’s happy.”
When asked if he’d want to come back and be a part of next year’s festival, he said he’d happily come along just as a spectator.
“We came along in 2019 (to the last Wall to Wall) and had a great time,” he said.
“So we’d be happy to come and visit as a family regardless.”
