Another 113 votes have been counted since Monday, and distributed across most of the candidates.
Three votes separate Shannon Sampson and David ‘Baron’ Schoeffel, with Mr Sampson in the top nine on 124.
Mr Schoeffel’s 121 sees him in 10th, just ahead of Richard McDaid with 112.
Additional votes for Kellie Crossley has seen her poll 1001 votes of the 5217 votes counted to date.
Ash Hall and Craig Druitt are now equal second with 750 apiece, and Frank Schofield has 635 and is so far the only other candidate to exceed the progressive quota of 499.
Rounding out the top nine so far are Leanne Mulham (460), Shirlee Burge (391), Ken Bates (244) and Linda Fawns (157).
Today is the cut off for postal votes. Once those first preference votes are counted, the NSW Electoral Commission will start distributing preferences until nine councillors meet the required quota.
The polls are expected to be declared by October 3.

Joy Allan is pulling away from Norman Berger in Murray River Council’s Greater Murray ward, which incorporates Mathoura.
With 2300 votes of a possible 3134 now counted, Mrs Allan now has 317 votes to sit in third spot above Norman Berger on 295.
But with only two candidates meeting the quota of 549 so far, it’s unclear what impact the distribution of preferences may have.
Already above quota are Kylie Berryman (647) and Geoff Wise (559).
In the Moama ward, no candidate is yet to meet the progressive quote of 552.
But there is a significant gap between the top three and bottom four candidates.
Gen Campbell’s progressive vote count is 459, with John Harvie next on 447 and Bianca Hurn on 433.
In fourth is Chris Bilkey with 313, followed by Graeme Blow (256), Frank Crawley (156) and Michael Ludeman (143).
