Towns across the region have given generously to this year’s Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, with Echuca-Moama raising $125,998.

Significant contributions came from local emergency services, with the Echuca Fire Brigade collecting $29,432.37 alongside the SES Echuca Unit.
Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade raised $4518.80, and Echuca Village Fire Brigade collected $4632.18 in its area and at the Echuca races.
Locals and visitors donated generously to the Good Friday Appeal.

In Moama, Fire and Rescue Station 379 raised $3226 from caravan parks in the area with a limited number of volunteers available.
The amount raised per town in the region is listed below, according to Good Friday Appeal’s regional tally board.

Notably, Devenish Dookie and District raised $235,662 with a collective population of around 540 people.
Good Friday Appeal chair Penny Fowler said the charity had raised $468 million over 94 years to support sick kids and their families.
“We want to thank our regional supporters who are at the heart of the Good Friday Appeal for their incredible fundraising efforts over the years,” she said.
