The Deniliquin Business Chamber had been running competitions and events in the lead up to this weekend’s Deni Ute Muster.
The Ute Muster Business Display Competition encouraged locals to decorate their store fronts, or a section of the business.
As well as promoting the town’s biggest event, the competition aimed to get everyone in the spirit of the Muster.
A number of businesses decorated, with seven officially registering as an entrant for the chamber competition.
Of those, none stood out more to the judging panel than that of the Salvation Army Store.
Adorned with flannelette shirts, denim jeans and boots, the Salvos’ display was a feast for the eyes.
As well as bragging rights, the volunteers behind the display also claimed an amazing prize - two adult tickets to this weekend’s Muster, valued at more than $600.
“Not only did they impress with their fantastic window display - featuring a family camping scene, fire pit, swags, a Bundy Bear, and more - they also went the extra mile with a second display inside the store,” chamber said.
“Their creativity and attention to detail truly captured the spirit of the Deni Ute Muster.”
