Marking the church’s anniversary, it will be held Saturday, July 1, at noon, with Bishop Donald Kirk who will be officiating.
It is 150 years since the creation of the Urana and Jerilderie Parish, the 126th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone at the church, and the 125th anniversary of the official opening of the church.
Lunch will be provided following the thanksgiving service.
Copies of the limited edition book on the church’s history - written and compiled by Laurie Henery - will be available for purchase.

Have you completed your entry in Murrumbidgee Council’s Waste to Art competition.
This competition and exhibition showcases reused and recyclable waste materials.
This innovative challenge invites schools, community groups and individuals to transform rubbish into art and design.
All entries will be shown in an exhibition, which will travel to each of the towns in the council area.
Prize money of $200 will be awarded for first place in each category.
A People's Choice Award of $100 will be presented at the end of the Jerilderie exhibition.
The closing date for competition entries is noon on Friday, June 16.
These are to be submitted to your local council office.
The gala exhibition opening will be held Wednesday, June 21 at Kerri Weymouth Art Studio & Gallery, 25-27 Brolga Place, Coleambally from 6pm.
After this the exhibition will be open for two weeks before moving to Darlington Point from July 7 to 21, and then Jerilderie from July 25 to August 8.
