Love it or hate it, daylight saving starts on Sunday, October 6.
Locals should put their clocks forward one hour before they go to bed on Saturday night.
The official time change happens at 2am Sunday.
Victoria, NSW, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia will all change to daylight saving time.
Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia do not take part.
This means Victoria, NSW, ACT and Tasmania will be on the same time as each other.
The time in South Australia will remain 30 minutes behind Victoria.
Queensland will be one hour behind Victoria.
The Northern Territory will be an hour and a half behind Victoria.
Western Australia will be three hours behind Victoria.
Daylight saving time will run until April 6.
