With just short of 50 classes, courses and performance sessions under its belt, U3A Benalla is set to start its second semester on Monday, July 3.
A spokesperson said nearly 400 members had signed up for 2023, a record number for the Benalla group and a record number of courses.
“While (courses) ‘Demystifying Psychology and Family History — Intermediate’ will be new, ‘Be Connected — Managing Money Online’, ‘Tech Savvy Apple – Pages’, and ‘Enjoying the Internet’ will not continue for semester two,” the spokesperson said.
“Meetings are usually at the Benalla Seniors Community Centre, Fawckner Drive, although ‘Bushwalking, Garden and Wine Appreciation’, ‘Bird Watching’ and ‘Chat 'n' Chew’ gatherings are necessarily elsewhere.”

Hard-copy forms can be picked up from the RedB4 bookshop, Benalla, next to Hides Bakery and in the seniors centre.
Membership is limited to those aged 55 and over and costs $30 a year.
However if you like the look of a particular course, you can ‘try before you buy’ and are encouraged to sit in on a session of interest to see if it suits your needs.
