In light of ongoing concerns and uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, the festival committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the annual street art festival for another year.
Wall to Wall committee chair Roxanne Damasson said after great deliberation and conversations with the festival’s major stakeholders, the decision was made to move away from the initial idea of holding the festival in November.
“This decision is not made lightly, but is made for the health and safety all festival patrons, artists, volunteers, vendors, and staff,” Ms Demasson said.

Committee vice-chair Shannon Tharratt said there were too many uncertainties to be able to press on with planning the event.
“We also feel by doing this we can maximise the economic opportunities for the town, and secure artists and assets who currently may not be in a position to travel to Benalla for the event,” Ms Tharratt said.
“Although Victoria has done a tremendous job of minimising the spread of COVID-19, these are still very uncertain times with restrictions changing constantly.
“We hope that by postponing further we may have more certainty around programming the event.

“Over the next few months we will be working with our collaborators and partners to prepare for 2022.
“In the meantime we’ll be sharing a virtual tour of the town which we worked on during the 2020 lockdown.
“Thank you again for your understanding and patience. Say safe.”
