Wharparilla Lodge receives $5000

The Wharparilla Auxiliary has donated $5000 to the Wharparilla Lodge to help fund much-needed equipment.

The donation was presented to Echuca Community for the Aged chief executive John Dean on Thursday, March 27.

The aged care facility provides permanent and respite care to more than 90 residents.

The Wharparilla Auxiliary was formed to help raise money and assist residents and staff in enhancing the lives of residents.

The most recent donation will go towards updating equipment in the dining area to give residents a better dining experience.

The auxiliary’s next fundraiser will be its annual Autumn Fashion Parade on Thursday, April 30 in the Cunningham Downs Community Hall.
