Entry to the Moira Shire Council-sponsored event is a gold coin donation and all money raised will go to cancer prevention research.
Attendees will be able to enjoy sandwiches, coffee, tea and cakes catered for by the Youanmite CWA.
Entertainment for the event will be provided by Ukaladies, a band made up of members from the area who play ukulele.
According to Youanmite CWA secretary June Field their presence has always been a popular highlight.
“We had them last year and they are very popular, everyone loved them.”
A display of old memorabilia, including household wear, and local newspapers will be on display and multiple raffles will be drawn throughout the event.
The event is open to people of all ages and Mrs Field encouraged everyone, including the young, to attend.
“It’s a great opportunity to get together as a community. Last year people came from all various places around and they enjoyed the community singing and company.”
The CWA is a national organisation which provides outreach and community support at local and state level.
The Youanmite CWA will be taking part in the 100-year birthday celebrations of Youanmite, which will take place at the end of April.
