Under-12 vs Echuca
The under-12s game went to the wire, with Benalla emerging with an 8-7 win against Echuca.
Finn Thompson stepped in as goalkeeper, making great saves for the team, with Will Keen supporting with impressive defensive efforts.
Hayden Littler led the scorers with four goals and Darcy Mort dominated both ends of the pitch.
Bella Gillies and Abigail Thannhauser were also among the best on ground.

Under-16A vs SYC
In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, the under-16A team emerged with a dominant 15-7 win against SYC this week.
Leading the goal scoring charge was Noah Gillies with an astonishing 11 goals.
It is an exciting time for Noah, who will be having a player assessment with the Victorian under-14 state team soon.
In his debut match with under-16A, Angus Hayes made an immediate impact with a goal within 30 seconds of stepping on the pitch.
Goalie Angus Woodward was resilient against an attacking SYC team, saving many attempts on goal.
Zander and Ollie Gillies were also among the best on ground.

Under-16B vs SYC:
With a full team, Benalla looked for a positive performance against SYC.
After a sluggish first quarter, Benalla came out firing in the second with Angus, Talon, and Lochie working hard across the pitch.
All was to play for at half-time with a single goal between the sides.
Despite great efforts in the second half by Luci, Cael and Jack, Benalla was downed by four in a close one.
B-Men vs Echuca:
In hot conditions, Benalla began the game even hotter against Echuca, with Dave McIntyre scoring within the first minute.
Excellent defensive work from Charlie Grimwade, Ollie Gillies and James Black stifled any Echuca momentum, with any shots quickly repelled by goalkeeper Dave Chittick.
Forwards Dave McIntyre, Noah Gillies and Andrew Glazzard ensured that Benalla had an eight-goal advantage by the time the final siren had sounded.
The result keeps Benalla on top of the ladder.

Stick 2 Hockey presentation night
Benalla’s rising hockey stars had a great final night, pitching their skills against their parents.
Presentations for Benalla’s Stick 2 Hockey program were held on Thursday, June 27, with all players receiving a medallion and certificate.
The under-7s taught their parents how to push and trap, then challenged them to a game of ‘Hockey Tennis’ under the guidance of coaches Erin and Sophie.
The under-12s concluded an enjoyable night by playing a match which ended in a draw.
