The stage is set for a big final day of Goulburn Valley Junior and Open Championship action after a full-on Tuesday set up some exciting final game encounters.

In the open women’s division, number one seed Laquisa Khan proved too strong for Torrumbarry’s Isabella Crossman, securing a 3-6, 6-1, 10-5 semi-final win.
A true test of skill, the match lit up Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club, as two of the bracket’s best went head-to-head.
Booking her spot in the final against Sahra Dennehy, a strong final set proved to be enough for Khan to get over the line.
In the men’s singles Lachlan McFadzean will take on Brendon Lee Moore in the decider.
For Moore a dominant 6-4, 6-0 semi-final win was enough to secure a spot in the last game, while McFadzean did things the hard way, winning 4-6, 6-3, 3-10.
McFadzean followed his three-set win with an open men’s doubles quarter-final on Tuesday afternoon, joining Charlie Snow for a 6-4, 6-4 win.
Fellow open men’s doubles competitors — Shepparton’s Jarrod Bingham and David Poole fell in a high quality quarter-final, 6-5, 7-5 to Charlie Pade and Vitorio Sardinha.
Despite bowing out of the open women’s singles, Crossman also remained in contention for a doubles title.
Playing alongside Piper Freeman in the women’s doubles, Crossman faced off with Shepparton’s Hope and Darcy Curtis-McDonald on Tuesday afternoon.
Taking out the game 2-6, 3-6, Crossman and Freeman pencilled in a semi-final match-up on Tuesday evening.
Also pencilled in overnight were all four open mixed doubles quarter-finals.
Pitting a number of standout talents against each other the quarter-finals are the perfect entrée for the final day of action.
With finals set to be played across the divisions throughout the day Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club is certainly going to be the place to be tomorrow.
