Rain in the Greater Shepparton area was out of the way in time for a solid dry afternoon on the fairways at Shepparton Golf Club on Tuesday.

The morning precipitation would soon give way to a picturesque setting as golfers took one more chance to have a hit-out before Christmas.

In typical fashion, swings big and little were on the menu as golfers filled the fairways and gathered on the greens, with some occasional stress in the sand.
