Whether you like pulling out tricks on two wheels, four, or you are just keen to see tricksters going head to head, the North East Skate Park Series is set to fill your appetite.
Skateboard, scooter and BMX riders will take to the Benalla Skate Park in the second round of the series on Sunday, August 13.
The event is run by Al’s Skate Co which was established by Al Taylor. He founded the company to encourage people to get into skateboarding and engage with the skateboarding community.
The North East Skate Park Series is also connected with the not-for-profit incorporation, Drop In & Take Off, which has the vision of encouraging the physical and metal health benefits of skateboarding.
The incorporation set up by Taylor also strives to work with people who have mental and physical challenges and offer them a path to community and social engagement through skateboarding.
People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to enter and there’s no entry fee. Parental or guardian permission is required for all participants under 18 years.
The event was made possible by Benalla Rural City Council, FReeZA and Al’s Skate Co and is an alcohol, drug, smoke, vape free event.
