John Muscovich won A-grade with 36 points, while Kayne Falconer tasted success in B-grade, winning with 34 points on a countback.
Nearest-the-pins went to Darren Cook on the 12th and Mark Fountain on the 17th.
The ball pool went to all those with 34 points or more and included Muscovich, John Hedley, Falconer, Greg Cusack, Bill Matthews and Dave Hamilton.
The men’s stabledford started early on Saturday to accommodate those wishing to watch the AFL grand final.
The A-grade winner was Fountain with 37 points, while James Fulton saluted in B-grade with 38 points on a countback.
Matthews was nearest-the-pin on the sixth, Dave Enricho was closest on the 12th and on the 17th it was Russel Peel. Muscovitch won the drive-and-pitch on the 15th.
The ball pool went to all those with 33 points and included Fulton, Ciaran Fountain, Danny Fountain, Mark Fountain, Muscovich and John Boruch.
This Friday, the social game is back to nine holes and will be over holes one to nine.
On Saturday, the men will play a stroke round for the start of the championships which doubles up as the October monthly medal and the women will also play a stableford round.
The club’s annual general meeting will begin at 5pm after golf this Saturday, October 5.
