The Bats started slow and took time to find their flow.
Ella Sheehan and Ally Ellis stood strong down in defence against fast and accurate shooters. Alex Davies and Amelia Gall showed their speed and endurance through the mid-court with great feeding into the shooters.
It was a great game of netball to watch, Kylie Relf showed her experience in goals uniting with Chelsea Beavis to help keep the Bats in front at the final whistle.

B-Reserve
It wasn’t our day against Bright this week. A very different Bright side challenged us and forced errors in our court flow and our passing.
We had a number of turnovers, but were unable to complete the passage of play down the court to convert into points on the scoreboard.
Best-on went to Kate Nolan for her performance and strength in defence this week.
The second-best went to Kobi Chapman for a diligent effort in wing defence, sticking right to her player and defending every pass.
The third best went to Ella Woods, who ran all day and moved well in the ring to secure many attempts at goal.
A big thanks to the team for welcoming Julie Richardson in the absence of Jo and Hannah in our mid-court.
Score: Goorambat 22 to Bright 45
Awards: Best-on: Kate Nolan (Good Guys); 2nd-best: Kobi Chapman (Sportpower); 3rd best: Ella Woods (Munro and Sargeant)

The whole team did not drop their heads or give up until the final whistle.
Charli Button received the best on for effort and minimal errors during the game.
In defence, there were many turnovers in the ring from Lacey and Molly’s rebounds.
In the mid-court Teliha Yates stood out as she got intercept after intercept, awarding herself second best.
