Production Sedans, Speedway Sedans Victoria Juniors, Goulburn Ovens Sedan Association, Unlimited Sedans, Sports Sedans, Standard Saloons, Sports Sedan Ladies and the Humpy Holdens will all be amongst the entertainers.
Production Sedans competitors include Brayden Creek, Scott Hawkins, Rodney Anderson, Leighton Evans, and Anthony Hanson whom all the fans and officials at Wahgunyah are glad to see after an incident at the last show.
Albury-based Corowa member Daryl Joosten is keen to go to battle in the Sports Sedans with Felicity Roycroft, Rhys Collins, and Jake Cottier amongst others whilst Roycroft will double up and also compete in the Ladies Sports Sedan category against Chloe Creek, and Cobie McGraw representing Corowa.
Katie Meyer, Bianca Ballantyne and Pauline Fell are some of the other drivers to keep an eye on in the Ladies racing.
Goulburn Ovens Sedan Association member drivers will compete for points towards their season aggregate in their racing. Corowa members Billy O’Donoghue, Brandan Lovell, Daniel Joosten, Marcus Maclean, Stuart Balins, Luke Collis, and Justin Brockley are keen to get one up on each other whilst stiff competition from the Schmetzer boys out of Leeton Ben and Tom is expected.
Micheal Fleming-Robertson leads local drivers in the Standard Saloon racing on Saturday with Tony Spale, and Rhys Lavender also representing Corowa-Rutherglen. Josh Cambell from Swan Hill and Josh Delarue from the Wangaratta clubs will challenge them for the win.
Unlimited Sedans are scheduled also to compete with Wayne Eames, Stuart Balins who will compete in two classes on race night and Garry Coates in action and likely to be challenged by Peter Camilleri coming into town from Bendigo.
Gates to the public open from 9am. Racing starts at 3pm. A full canteen operates on site with hot, cold food and drinks. Entry is $25 for adults whilst the club offers aged pensioners and Children aged 12 to 16 a $15 entry. Any child under 12 is free. Family tickets are $60 for 2 adults and 3 children in the 12 to 16 age bracket.
