Chief executive Chris Martin says there is a real buzz around the club among members and staff alike.
"All staff are excited and working hard to make this year’s event the best yet, and with strong community support and great racing on the horizon, we’re feeling confident and ready to go,“ Martin said.
The meeting is set to be a grand affair, with an anticipated attendance of around 2400 racegoers.
Patrons wishing to consume alcohol are strongly advised to take advantage of the club’s coach service, which will operate routes between the racecourse, Seymour Railway Station, Wallan, Nagambie and Tallarook.
Martin said there had been numerous improvements on and off track since last year’s edition.
“The Cup has grown in various ways, with more hospitality options, enhanced facilities, and greater community engagement. We have also seen stronger sponsorship involvement, which has allowed us to elevate the overall experience,” Martin said.
Station St café The Brewers Table will be among a host of local businesses at the event, allowing racegoers from near and far to sample the local cuisine.
Seeing the Seymour community come together will make all the preparations worthwhile, Martin said.
“Watching families, friends and racing enthusiasts enjoy the atmosphere at all our events makes the hard work worthwhile,” he said.
